ISO 9000 in Health Care Organizations

The ISO standards are a set of international standards, which help to insure the highest quality products. The European community has required ISO certification has one of the requirements for trade among the member nations.

The American Society for Quality has links to the ISO standards as well as other useful information about quality systems. While these do not specifically mention Pharmacy, per se, they are definitely applicable to pharmacy practice.
